01Method
- 1
Heat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2
Arrange the pizza crusts on a baking sheet.
- 3
Bake until lightly golden, about 5 minutes, then remove from the oven and keep the oven hot.
- 4
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate using a slotted spoon.
- 5
Lower the skillet heat to medium-low and melt one portion of the butter. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to form a roux. Pour in the half-and-half, scraping up any browned bits from the pan, and stir until the gravy thickens, about 2 minutes. Season with pepper, salt, and onion powder.
- 6
Add the browned sausage back to the gravy and stir to combine. Remove from heat and spoon the sausage gravy evenly over each pizza crust.
- 7
In a small nonstick saucepan over low heat, melt the remaining butter. Add the eggs and cook, stirring gently, until scrambled, 3 to 4 minutes. Distribute the scrambled eggs over the pizzas and top with both cheeses.
- 8
Return the pizzas to the oven and bake until the cheese is fully melted, 3 to 4 minutes.
