Terms of Service

YouEat provides personalized weekly meal plans, recipes and shopping lists based on the targets, preferences and allergens you configure. Nutrition figures are computed per serving with care, but YouEat is not a medical service — consult a professional for medical dietary needs, and always verify ingredient labels for allergens.

Allergen, dietary and nutrition information (such as “gluten-free” or “vegan” labels) is derived from available recipe and ingredient data and is indicative only. The actual composition of a specific product may vary by brand, batch or production method, and our database may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify the ingredients and allergens on the packaging of the actual product before consuming it; if you have a food allergy, intolerance or medical dietary restriction, never rely solely on the information in the app.

YouEat is operated by Host Hive s.r.o. — the party you are contracting with under these terms.

You need an account to use YouEat. You're responsible for activity under your credentials and for keeping them confidential. You must be at least 16 years old. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Health data. During onboarding you give us your weight, height, age, gender and activity level, and you may add allergens and dietary choices. Together these are health data — a special category under Article 9 of the GDPR — and we ask for your explicit consent to process them, separately from your acceptance of these terms. We use them for one purpose: calculating your targets and building your plans. Your plans cannot be produced without them, so this consent is a condition of holding an account, not an optional extra. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account in Settings → Account, which erases the data; withdrawal is as easy as giving consent was.

Premium renews automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled in Settings. Every new account receives a 7-day full-Premium trial without a payment card. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the current billing period. As digital content delivered immediately with your consent, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right lapses on first use; you can still cancel future renewals at any time. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

• Personal use — plans and recipes are for you and your household, not for resale or redistribution.
• No abuse — no scraping the catalog, probing the service or interfering with other users.
• Your content — anything you submit must be yours to share and lawful.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YouEat is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages; our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We are not liable for harm arising from reliance on indicative allergen, dietary or nutrition information without verifying it on the actual product's packaging as described in Section 01. This does not affect liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may stop using YouEat at any time. To have your account deleted, write to privacy@youeat.click — we act within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, giving prior notice where reasonably possible. Sections that by nature survive (liability, governing law) survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, and disputes belong to the courts of the Czech Republic — without limiting any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Questions: legal@youeat.click.
