01Method
- 1
Select chicken breasts or boneless thighs for the strips; thigh meat will be smaller but more tender. Remove the chicken from refrigeration and allow it to reach room temperature before cooking.
- 2
Cut the chicken into strips approximately 1.5 cm wide and 15 cm long.
- 3
Season the strips with salt and pepper, place in a bowl, and coat with yogurt and oil. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for several hours to marinate.
- 4
Remove the strips from the marinade and toss with beaten egg.
- 5
In a separate bowl, crush the cornflakes and almonds into small pieces; this coating will create a crispy exterior.
- 6
Coat each piece and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them apart.
- 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 20 minutes until golden.
- 8
Serve with sauce of choice and fresh vegetable salad, optionally accompanied by homemade fries.
