01Method
- 1
Transfer the broccoli to a microwave-safe bowl and heat on high for 7 minutes.
- 2
Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat.
- 3
At the same time, preheat a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the sausage, breaking it into small crumbly pieces and scraping up any browned bits from the bottom with a metal spatula, about 10 minutes.
- 4
Drop the gnocchi into the boiling water and cook until they rise to the surface, 2 to 4 minutes.
- 5
While the gnocchi cook, stir the butter, garlic, and Italian seasoning into the sausage. Lower the heat to medium and cook for 1 minute. Add the Alfredo sauce, then rinse the jar with water and pour the liquid into the skillet. Stir in the Parmesan, the cooked broccoli, and season with black pepper.
- 6
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the gnocchi directly from the cooking water into the skillet and stir everything together until well combined.
