01Method

  1. 1

Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and coat a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

  2. 2

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine the sausage and brown sugar. Cook, breaking the meat apart, until fully browned and cooked through. Drain off any excess fat and transfer the sausage to a bowl. Wipe the skillet clean.

  3. 3

In the same skillet over low heat, melt the butter. Whisk the eggs together with the milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then pour the mixture into the skillet. Let the eggs begin to set before gently folding them into soft, moist curds, about 5 to 7 minutes.

  4. 4

Press three-quarters of the crescent roll dough across the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan. Layer in the sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese. Lay the remaining dough over the top and press the edges together to seal.

  5. 5

Bake until the dough is golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
