Heat the oven to 350°F. Combine the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chilli powder, and hot sauce in a small bowl and stir until blended.
- 2
Using a fork, gently fold the paprika, salt, and black pepper into the ground beef. Shape the mixture into four patties roughly 5 inches wide. Cover and let rest.
- 3
Arrange the bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook until the fat has rendered and the strips are crisp, about 8 minutes. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate. Discard most of the drippings, keeping about 2 teaspoons in the pan; reserve the excess fat separately. Raise the heat to medium-high and cook the patties two at a time, about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer all patties to a rimmed baking sheet and keep warm in the oven while you finish the eggs.
- 4
Wipe the skillet clean, add a tablespoon of the reserved bacon fat, and heat over medium-high. Crack the eggs into the pan and cook until the whites are fully set, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- 5
While the eggs cook, brush the buns with melted butter, set them on a rimmed baking sheet, and toast in the oven until lightly golden, about 10 minutes.
- 6
Assemble each burger: set a patty on the bottom bun, top with a slice of cheese, two pieces of bacon, and a fried egg. Spread spiced ketchup on the top bun and press it into place.
