01Method
- 1
Heat the oven to 220°C and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- 2
Cut the pizza dough into four equal portions. On a lightly floured surface, roll and stretch each piece into an 8–9-inch oval, then pull one end into a tapered point to form a ghost silhouette. Place two ghost shapes on each prepared sheet — slight variations in shape add charm.
- 3
Combine the oil and garlic in a small bowl, then brush the mixture evenly over all four ghosts. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 10–12 minutes, rotating the trays between oven racks halfway through, until the crusts are golden and firm.
- 4
Stir together the ricotta, Parmesan and Italian seasoning, then spread the mixture over the baked crusts, leaving a small border around the edges. Scatter the mozzarella on top and return to the oven for about 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted and everything is heated through. Position two olive rounds on each ghost as eyes and one round as a mouth.
- 5
Slide the ghosts onto individual plates and serve immediately.
