01Method

  1. 1

Prepare the marinade by combining honey, tomato paste, soy sauce, grated ginger, crushed garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Adjust consistency with warm water if needed and submerge the frog legs for 2 hours.

  2. 2

Remove the legs from the marinade and pat dry thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper, then coat evenly with cornstarch.

  3. 3

Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and place the coated legs in the pan. Cook while turning frequently until golden brown on all sides.

  4. 4

In a separate small pan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil. Add remaining butter and simmer for 3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. 5

Arrange the cooked legs on a serving plate and pour the hot glaze over top. Garnish with thinly sliced green onion strips.

  6. 6

Serve alongside fluffy steamed rice as the ideal accompaniment.
