Flagging an allergen usually shrinks a recipe catalog brutally — gluten alone removes half of most collections. We spent a lot of effort making sure exclusion doesn't mean monotony.
01
Exclusion is absolute
An allergen flag is not a preference: any recipe containing the ingredient — or a derived one — is removed from your world entirely. It won't appear in plans, search results or swaps.
02
Variety is engineered back
The catalog is tagged deeply enough that the planner can rebalance across dish groups after filtering. With gluten and dairy both excluded you still draw from thousands of recipes — the plan just leans on naturally safe cuisines more heavily.
