01Method
- 1
Lightly coat an 8x8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- 2
Tear or cut the croissants into roughly 1-inch pieces and arrange them in a single layer across the bottom of the prepared dish. Scatter the cheese and ham evenly over the top.
- 3
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sour cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until thoroughly combined and smooth.
- 4
Evenly distribute the egg mixture over the croissant, cheese, and ham layer.
- 5
Seal the dish tightly with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- 6
Remove the dish from the refrigerator and let it sit on the counter while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 7
Remove the foil and bake the casserole uncovered in the center of the oven for 45 to 55 minutes, until fully set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 8
Slice into portions and top with green onions before serving.
