01Method
- 1
Combine the butter, Dijon mustard, minced onion, maple syrup, and Worcestershire sauce in a small bowl and mix until well blended. Spread the mixture evenly across the cut surfaces of each croissant.
- 2
Arrange the croissant bottoms on a cutting board. Fold the ham slices to fit and layer them on each bottom half, then distribute the cheese evenly before placing the tops back on.
- 3
Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Grease a casserole dish or cast iron skillet large enough to hold the croissants in a single layer. Arrange the assembled croissants in the pan.
- 5
In a bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then pour the mixture evenly over the croissants. Top each with a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning and let the dish rest for about 10 minutes.
- 6
Bake until the croissants are golden and the egg mixture is fully set, 32 to 38 minutes. Check at the 25-minute mark and tent with foil if the tops are browning too quickly. Serve immediately while hot.
