01Method

  1. 1

Gather all ingredients and preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Add the butter to the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish and set it in the oven to melt.

  2. 2

Once the butter has melted, distribute the shredded chicken evenly over it, then scatter the frozen vegetables on top.

  3. 3

In a bowl, combine the biscuit mix, the included seasoning packet, and the milk; stir until a smooth batter forms. Pour this mixture over the chicken and vegetables, spreading it gently and evenly without stirring into the layers below.

  4. 4

In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup and the chicken stock until smooth. Pour this liquid evenly over the biscuit layer — do not stir.

  5. 5

Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, until the top is deep golden brown and only the very center has a slight jiggle.

  6. 6

If desired, scatter fresh parsley over the surface, then allow the dish to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
