01Method
- 1
Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook according to package directions.
- 2
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and trim the pork, then cut it into similar-sized cubes for even cooking.
- 3
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves; peel and thinly slice the onions.
- 4
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- 5
Brown the chicken pieces in the oil, stirring occasionally, until golden on all sides; transfer to a plate.
- 6
In the same pan, sear the pork pieces until lightly browned; return the chicken to the pan.
- 7
Add the sliced onions and minced garlic to the meat, stirring to combine with the pan juices.
- 8
Pour in the sour cream and stir gently until the meat and vegetables are coated in a smooth sauce.
- 9
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then simmer for 10–15 minutes until the meats are fully cooked through.
- 10
Serve the two-tone meat over the cooked jasmine rice.
